SUMMARY:
At the last Airport Commission meeting, the Commission selected a representative to serve on the selection committee for Airport Consulting Services for the City. The panel reviewed the two Statement of Qualifications, conducted an interview, and scored the responsiveness of qualifications. The panel selected LJA for recommendation of award of the Professional Services contract to City Council. City Council authorized the award of the 3-year contract (with 2 1-year extension options) at the August 4th, 2026 meeting, and awarded their first Task Order for the design of the Apron Expansion and Helicopter Parking project at the October 6th, 2026, meeting. More information and Commission participation in the Apron Design will be forthcoming in future meetings.
