SUMMARY:
Review quarterly report on Workers Compensation Settlements approved by the City Manager, under $50,000 for Quarter 2 of the year 2026.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On April 7, 2026, the City Council reviewed the previous quarterly report.
DISCUSSION:
As required by the City of Red Bluff’s City Code: Chapter II, Article X, Section 2.96 (C): Delegation of authority over minor claims. Claims with merit of up to $50,000 may be settled and approved for payment by the City Manager after consultation with the City Attorney. Quarterly reports of actions taken on such claims will be submitted to the City Council.
CITY FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a report only. Any necessary requests for additional funds would be requested in a separate agenda item, if needed.
