SUMMARY:
The City Budget update is presented to the Council quarterly.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On May 5, 2026, City Council received the last budget update.
DISCUSSION:
The 2025/26 budget begins with a general fund balance of $8,755,046. The 2025/26 general fund budget ends with an estimated general fund balance of $6,558,170, and an ending balance decrease of $2,196,876.
The 2026/27 budget estimate begins with an estimated general fund balance of $6,558,170. The 2026/27 general fund budget ends with an estimated general fund balance of $1,845,060, an ending balance decrease of $4,713,110.
CITY FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost to receive the budget update
