Appoint the Red Bluff Elementary School District’s recommended employee, Larry Collins, to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

SUMMARY:
Because of two untimely resignations from the Parks and Recreation Commission, two of the five seats are empty. The Commission reserves these two seats for employees from Red Bluff Union High School and Elementary School Districts. These seats are for three-year terms, and both terms have two years remaining. Staff contacted the Red Bluff Union High and Elementary School Districts to request recommendations to fill the two open seats.

DISCUSSION:
Staff received only one recommendation from the Red Bluff Elementary School District to appoint Larry Collins to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission. This item is on the consent agenda to formalize the school district’s recommendation and appoint Larry Collins to the Commission.
